Buff started to drift out of the groove and got
close to the centerline before he reeled it in to get in the show. Troy Buff's incremental times:
60ft-0.876 sec., 330ft-2.250, 660ft-3.224/265.48 mph. Crampton launched hard and was on a good
pass until right in the lights when the engine let go with a big fireball. He goes to the number

mph. Right Lane: Morgan Lucas No Time, Now #18; Best prior run: 4.456/170.00, Was #18 Lucas with problems on the burnout and then just idles it on down the track and he will not get in the show. Reed was in the other lane and was shut off he will come back later in the round. Left Lane: Scott Palmer Runs 4.808/156.19, Now #14; Best prior run: 3.951/302.28, Was #14 Right Lane: Terry Haddock Runs 4.009/276.41, Now #16; Best prior run: 4.099/286.92, Was #17 Palmer started to lose traction and clicked it off . Haddock with a good clean pass, straight down the groove to get in the show. Terry Haddock's incremental times: 60ft-0.895 sec., 330ft-2.233, 660ft-3.178/263.87 mph. Haddock bumps out Buff. Left Lane: Tripp Tatum Runs 3.777/326.71, Now #9; Best prior run: 3.771/321.27, Was #9 Right Lane: Terry McMillen Runs 5.148/141.91, Now #13; Best prior run: 3.923/308.21, Was #13 Tatum is straight down the groove with another good looking pass, but will not improve...he makes his career fastest pass. Tripp Tatum's incremental times: 60ft-0.841 sec., 330ft-2.156, 660ft-3.039/287.41 mph. McMillen started to lose traction early and clicked it off. Left Lane: Clay Millican Runs 3.689/327.27, Now #1; Best prior run: 3.747/323.43, Was #7 Right Lane: Wayne Newby Runs 3.817/323.12, Now #12; Best prior run: 3.821/318.09, Was #12 Millican launched hard and kept it hooked to make his career quickest pass to go to the number one spot. this is the tenth quickest pass in the history of NHRA. Newby was straight down the groove with his quickest pass of the weekend, but will stay in the number 12 spot. This is his fastest pass of the season. Todd Runs 3.751/321.81, Now #9; Best prior run: 3.811/320.36, Was #11 Schumacher was straight down the groove with a real nice pass to move up the ladder a couple spots. Tony Schumacher's incremental times: 60ft-0.834 sec., 330ft-2.106, 660ft-2.980/288.83 mph. Todd with his quickest pass of the weekend to move up the ladder a couple spots. J.R. Todd's incremental times: 60ft-0.835 sec., 330ft-2.137, 660ft-3.010/289.38 mph. Left Lane: Shawn Reed Runs 8.626/80.94, Now #15; Best prior run: 3.952/311.85, Was #15 Reed was lined up against Lucas and then when he had problems on the burnout and trouble getting off the track, Reed shut it off and decided to come and make the pass. He is in the show and chose not to do the burnout. Reed is up in smoke right at the hit and clicks it off. Left Lane: Brittany Force Runs 3.742/322.50, Now #7; Best prior run: 3.728/323.89, Was #7 Right Lane: Shawn Langdon Runs 3.741/326.79, Now #8; Best prior run: 3.750/324.90, Was #8 These two are side-by-side all the way down the track. Force with another good pass, but will not improve. Brittany Force's incremental times: 60ft-0.847 sec., 330ft-2.128, 660ft-2.998/288.27 mph. Langdon with his quickest pass of the weekend as he is straight down the groove. He will stay in the number eight spot. Shawn Langdon's incremental times: 60ft-0.845 sec., 330ft-2.131, 660ft-3.004/289.20 mph. Left Lane: Doug Kalitta Runs 5.046/142.04, Now #3; Best prior run: 3.709/324.20, Was #3 Right Lane: Steve Torrence Runs 8.476/72.34, Now #6; Best prior run: 3.728/323.89, Was #6 Kalitta starts to lose traction just before half track and clicks it off. Torrence started to lose traction around 300 feet and clicked it off. Left Lane: Leah Pritchett Runs 3.700/328.70, Now #2; Best prior run: 3.705/326.63, Was #2 Right Lane: Antron Brown Runs 3.730/318.62, Now #4; Best prior run: 3.723/324.59, Was #4 Brown and Don Schumacher were in the Media Center earlier today to announce that Matco has signed up until 2020. It was just announced the Brown team has been picked for the Beat Appearing Crew award this weekend. Also at the end of the season, these team uniforms will be put up for auction with all the proceeds going to Breast Cancer Awareness. Pritchett with a great pass, but can't get the No.1 spot back from Millican. She makes her quickest pass of the weekend and will qualify number two. Leah Pritchett's incremental times: 60ft-0.835 sec., 330ft-2.109, 660ft-2.971/294.43 mph. Brown with another good pass, but will not improve and will start Sunday from the number four spot. Antron Brown's incremental times: 60ft-0.841 sec., 330ft-2.114, 660ft-2.987/290.94 mph.
