CHANDLER, Ariz. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Top Fuel at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 32nd annual CARQUEST Auto Parts NHRA Nationals:

Weather conditions: air temperature 80 degrees, relative humidity 21 percent, barometer 28.78 inches, adjusted altitude 3,036 feet, track temperature 118 degrees.

Pritchett and Brown have each won 2 times against the other in prior events. Brown double steps it and turns on the red light. This is the first time Brown has turned on the red light since Topeka 2012. Pritchett with her quickest pass of the weekend for the win.

Schumacher is 27 - 5 against Millican in prior events. Schumacher is out of the gate first and then Millican is up in smoke and he pedals it as Schumacher is up in smoke. Schumacher gets close to the centerline as he pedals it and then the engine went silent as Millican drives past him for the win. Millican was haze the tires as he crossed the finish line. Millican will give up lane choice to Pritchett in the semifinal.

Force is 5 - 1 against McMillen in prior events. McMillen with a couple ticks on the starting line, but is up in smoke right at the hit and clicks it off.

Kalitta is 2 - 0 against Connolly in prior events. Kalitta with the starting line advantage and never trailed for the win as Connolly is up in smoke. Kalitta runs low E.T. of the round for lane choice against Force in the semifinal.
