Hagan shut off the engine after a weird burnout in Q-1. There was a broken wire in the ignition system that was pulsing the engine. Big power for Head and a straight and true pass to near the finish line. The engine gets unhappy, but still cards a nice three second pass and the new #2 spot. Hale's Charger was a little lazy off the line and had more engine issues after the 660 lights. He still improves a spot to get on the bump. Another pair of threes. Force gets a big head start and powers on down the track, picking up three spots on the ladder to the ever popular #3 spot. He only has one chute, but there is a LONG shutdown and he stops the car without any issues. Wilkerson runs strong right behind Force and moves two spots up into the number eight eight position. Tim Wilkerson's incremental times: 60ft-0.882 sec., 330ft-2.289, 660ft-3.229/275.06 mph. John Force's incremental times: 60ft-0.875 sec., 330ft-2.272, 660ft-3.213/274.72 mph. Worsham's DSL Camry was strong early, but gets loose down track to lose a spot. Ron Capps' incremental times: 60ft-0.862 sec., 330ft-2.247, 660ft-3.195/274.72 mph.
