POMONA, Calif. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Pro Stock at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 56th annual Circle K NHRA Winternationals:

Nobile is 3 - 1 against Skillman in prior events, 1 - 0 in the second round.

This was wild - Nobile's car shook hard, then made a hard left turn. He got it pointed down the track, but the car kept sliding sideways and pancaked the wall. Fortunately it was a slow-speed wallbanger, but the car is flat-sided now, on the driver's side.

Line is 22 - 21 against Johnson in prior events, but it's 8 - 11 in round two.

For the first time we had one of the problems the teams reported during testing - Johnson's car stalled on the burnout and would not refire. Line made a good, unopposed run.

Gray is 1 - 0 against Butner in prior events. This is the first time they have met in round two.
Bo Butner's incremental margins: 60ft(0.018), 330 ft(0.051), 660ft(0.066), 1,000ft(0.075). MOV: 0.0824 seconds (approximately 25 feet).

Both Butner and Line ran 6.623, Line has lane choice in the semifinals on speed.

Last pair. Anderson is 44 - 39 against Coughlin in prior events, 15 - 11 in round two.
Coughlin leaned a little too hard on the tree, went red. That's the 22nd red light in Coughlin's career.

Anderson once again ran low ET of the round, he will have lane choice against Skillman in the semifinals.
