Gordon made a race of it and Lombardo was past half track by the time he caught him. That's the sixth-fastest run in TAFC history and Lombardo has all six of them.

Doushgounian left early and Lindberg "squared the tires." Big lost opportunity for the #4 qualifier.

For the fifth time in Winternationals history, the #1 and #2 qualifiers will meet in the final round and Lombardo will have lane choice.
