NHRA Top Fuel team Stringer Performance is pleased to announce a partnership with the University of Northwestern Ohio (UNOH) for the 2016 Mello Yello Drag Racing Series season. UNOH joins the team which just concluded its premier season by finishing 11th in the point standings, as a major associate sponsor and its logo will be featured on the dragster driven by veteran driver, Clay Millican. UNOH will also have a full paint scheme in conjunction with Stringer Motorsports' partners, Great Clips, Inc. and Parts Plus, for two races including the 4-Wide Nationals at zMAX Dragway in April and the Thunder Valley Nationals at Bristol Dragway in June.

Founded in 1920, UNOH is a private, not-for-profit university that that boasts the world's first High Performance Motorsports degree program that produces highly educated graduates and readies them for a career in the extremely competitive field of motorsports.

"Clay is a staple in the top fuel ranks with six consecutive IHRA World Championships. We are anxious for the start of the 2016 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series and the results that the UNOH POWER TEAM of Clay, Erica Enders-Stevens and Jeg Coughlin Jr. will bring to our program."

Doug Stringer, owner of Stringer Performance, has a long background in all aspects of motorsports from team ownership to sponsorship management. Throughout the years he has helped groom many motorsports professionals which is just another reason that the partnership with UNOH a perfect fit.
