Fri, 04 Dec 2015, 09:53 AM 2016 Division 9 Raiders Summit Pro-Am Tour Schedule Released

NORWALK, Ohio -- The International Hot Rod Association announced the official schedule for the Division 9 Summit Racing Equipment Pro-Am Tour presented by AMSOIL season. It will comprise six weekends at incredibly popular tracks throughout the Southeast including Farmington Dragway, Piedmont Dragway, Galot Motorsports Park, Maryland International Raceway, Union Dragway and Carolina Dragway.

Most Division 9 events will feature a single race weekend with qualifying on Saturday and racing on Sunday with the exception of Carolina Dragway and Maryland International Raceway. Carolina Dragway will once again host a Division 9 and 2 double race weekend. Maryland International Raceway will also host a divison 1 and 9 event paired with the IHRA Drag Racing Series purse and contingency. Racers that finish within the top three in their divisional points (Top 2 for Junior Advanced and Master) will earn an automatic bid to the 2016 Summit Racing Equipment Tournament of Champions at Memphis International Raceway in October.

"With multiple 2015 World Champions crowned from this division, I look forward to the competition being better than ever. Anytime time you put the best racers with some of the best facilities you know it's going to be good".

May 20-22 - Piedmont Dragway

June 3-5 - Galot Motorsports Park

June 17-19 - Maryland International Raceway (Double)

TBA - Union Dragway

September 2-4 - Carolina Dragway (Double)
