POMONA, Calif. - Notes from round 3 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 51st annual Auto Club NHRA Finals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Left Lane: Joey Grose Runs 10.138/89.94, Now #14; No Prior Run
Right Lane: Kenny Delco Runs 6.561/210.73, Now #13; No Prior Run

Weather conditions: air temperature 74 degrees, relative humidity 21 percent, barometer 28.81 inches, adjusted altitude 2,629 feet, track temperature 97 degrees.

Grose made a quick move toward the wall right at the hit and pushed the clutch in. Delco has Jim Yates with him this weekend and he runs his quickest pass of the weekend to go to the number 13 spot. Kenny Delco's incremental times: 60ft-0.981 sec., 330ft-2.748, 660ft-4.221/167.18 mph, 1,000ft-5.491.


Left Lane: Alan Prusiensky Runs 17.421/49.19, Now #16; No Prior Run
Right Lane: Richie Stevens Runs 6.560/210.90, Now #13; No Prior Run

Prusiensky with severe tire shake and made a quick move toward the centerline before he clicked it off. Stevens with his quickest pass of the weekend to go to the number 13 spot. Richie Stevens' incremental times: 60ft-0.985 sec., 330ft-2.751, 660ft-4.222/167.20 mph, 1,000ft-5.491.

Left Lane: V. Gaines Runs 12.904/63.16, Now #16; No Prior Run
Right Lane: Alex Laughlin Runs 6.558/209.65, Now #11; Best prior run: 6.540/211.79, Was #11

Gaines with a lot of tire shake and clicked it off. Laughlin with a good pass, but will not improve on his time from yesterday. Alex Laughlin's incremental times: 60ft-0.990 sec., 330ft-2.757, 660ft-4.227/167.74 mph, 1,000ft-5.491.

Left Lane: Matt Hartford Runs 6.581/211.00, Now #15; No Prior Run
Right Lane: Larry Morgan Runs 6.538/212.73, Now #10; Best prior run: 6.535/212.49, Was #10

Hartford with Warren and Kurt Johnson helping out again this weekend. He is straight down the groove with his quickest pass of the weekend to get in the show. Matt Hartford's incremental times: 60ft-0.982 sec., 330ft-2.758, 660ft-4.236/166.74 mph, 1,000ft-5.510. Morgan drives through tire shake right at the hit. Morgan is just a few ticks off his qualifying time from yesterday, but will stay in the number 10 spot.

Left Lane: Jonathan Gray Runs 6.516/212.96, Now #5; Best prior run: 6.551/211.56, Was #12
Right Lane: Drew Skillman Runs 6.509/213.84, Now #1; Best prior run: 6.512/213.06, Was #3

Gray with a real nice looking pass, his quickest of the weekend to move into the top half of the show. Jonathan Gray's incremental times: 60ft-0.983 sec., 330ft-2.736, 660ft-4.197/168.56 mph, 1,000ft-5.455. Skillman launched hard and keep it hooked up to go to the top of the list with a great pass. Skillman with the fastest pass of the event to set the track speed record. Drew Skillman's incremental times: 60ft-0.986 sec., 330ft-2.738, 660ft-4.196/169.23 mph, 1,000ft-5.451.

Left Lane: Allen Johnson Runs 6.535/211.86, Now #10; Best prior run: 6.528/212.06, Was #10
Right Lane: Greg Anderson Runs 6.508/213.47, Now #1; Best prior run: 6.523/213.06, Was #8

Johnson with another good pass, but will not improve on his time from yesterday and will stay in the number 10 spot. Allen Johnson's incremental times: 60ft-0.984 sec., 330ft-2.741, 660ft-4.207/168.01 mph, 1,000ft-5.470. Anderson launched hard and keep it hooked up to go to the number one spot. Greg Anderson's incremental times: 60ft-0.977 sec., 330ft-2.733, 660ft-4.193/168.68 mph, 1,000ft-5.450.

Left Lane: Erica Enders Runs 6.515/213.06, Now #6; Best prior run: 6.516/210.05, Was #7
Right Lane: Bo Butner Runs 6.514/213.33, Now #5; Best prior run: 6.513/212.66, Was #5

Enders was a little loose right at the hit, but reeled it in to make her quickest pass of the weekend and move up the ladder one spot. Erica Enders' incremental times: 60ft-0.984 sec., 330ft-2.739, 660ft-4.198/168.87 mph, 1,000ft-5.455. Butner with a real nice looking pass, but is just a tick off his time from yesterday and will stay in the number five spot. Bo Butner's incremental times: 60ft-0.978 sec., 330ft-2.736, 660ft-4.197/168.58 mph, 1,000ft-5.454.

Left Lane: Chris McGaha Runs 6.523/212.73, Now #9; Best prior run: 6.526/212.56, Was #9
Right Lane: Vincent Nobile Runs 6.516/213.16, Now #4; Best prior run: 6.510/212.93, Was #4

McGaha with his quickest pass of the weekend, but will stay in the number nine spot. Chris McGaha's incremental times: 60ft-0.986 sec., 330ft-2.742, 660ft-4.204/168.58 mph, 1,000ft-5.463. Nobile with another good pass, but will not improve on his time from yesterday. Vincent Nobile's incremental times: 60ft-0.982 sec., 330ft-2.738, 660ft-4.199/168.81 mph, 1,000ft-5.456.

Left Lane: Jason Line Runs 6.527/212.36, Now #8; Best prior run: 6.521/212.79, Was #8
Right Lane: Shane Gray Runs 6.505/213.20, Now #1; Best prior run: 6.509/212.79, Was #3

Line with another good pass and matches his E.T. from yesterday and will stay in the number eight spot. Jason Line's incremental times: 60ft-0.982 sec., 330ft-2.741, 660ft-4.206/168.32 mph, 1,000ft-5.466. Gray goes back to the top with a great looking pass, straight down the groove. Shane Gray's incremental times: 60ft-0.976 sec., 330ft-2.728, 660ft-4.188/168.60 mph, 1,000ft-5.446.
