This is the first time Westerfield and Lindberg have faced each other in eliminations.
westerfield gets the advantage of the line and starts to pull away. Lindberg gets out of the groove, hazes the tires and has to pedal. he recovers quickly but Westerfield was long gone by then.

Lombardo Jr. is 3 - 2 against Bellemeur in prior events.
Bellemeur gets a big holeshot and makes it count. He gets out of the groove, makes a move toward the wall and has to fight to keep the car off the wall. Lombardo was making up ground all the way through the run but soon ran out of room.

Sean Bellemeur's incremental margins: 60ft(0.131), 330 ft(0.148), 660ft(0.144), 1,000ft(0.092). MOV: 0.0558 seconds (approximately 22 feet).
