MOHNTON, Pa. - Notes from final, round 1 qualifying in Top Alcohol Dragster at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 31st annual NHRA Keystone Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:
Left Lane: Bruce Horner Runs 7.200/129.98, Now #2
Right Lane: Al Moeser Runs 6.454/159.48, Now #1

4:05 p.m. - Weather conditions: air temperature 56 degrees, relative humidity 71 percent, barometer 29.63 inches, adjusted altitude 674 feet, track temperature 60 degrees.

Because of weather here all weekend and the abbreviated schedule, this will be the only qualifying session for Top Alcohol Dragster before eliminations begin tomorrow.

Horner's car launched but started to drift toward the center line at mid track. He backed off the throttle to straighten the car out and keep from crossing over. Moeser had some tire shake during this run.

These two were about to start their cars when it started to rain again. After a couple of minutes wait, NHRA officials sent the alcohol dragsters back to the pits. 9:39 a.m. - Weather conditions: air temperature 57 degrees, relative humidity 63 percent, barometer 29.69 inches, adjusted altitude 645 feet, track temperature 57 degrees.
