looking pass until just pass half track when the car started mixing up cylinders and he clicked it
off. Left Lane: Bob Vandergriff Runs 3.774/319.29, Now #6; Best prior run: 3.794/321.42, Was #9 Right Lane: Richie Crampton Runs 3.763/325.45, Now #2; Best prior run: 3.807/319.82, Was #11 This was a great side-by-side drag race...Vandergriff launched hard and keep it hooked up to make his quickest pass of the weekend to move into the top half of the show. Haddock started to stage the car and the car just rolled through the beams, she got the car stopped out about 100 feet. Lucas launched hard and was on a great pass until right in the lights when the engine let go with a quick flash of flames and a lot of engine smoke. He still goes to the top half of the show.
