He shows that you can put the power to the track and motors on down the track right into our first full pass and the top spot to the rest to shoot at! Wilkerson has a good leave, but gets the tires loose before the 330 lights and the car way sideways. Cruz Pedregon's incremental times: 60ft-0.881 sec., 330ft-2.281, 660ft-3.232/270.37 mph. Left Lane: Alexis DeJoria Runs 4.020/314.39, Now #2 Right Lane: Ron Capps Runs 7.473/79.42, Now #8 Capps does a "instant replay" of Wilkerson's run and slows. Left Lane: John Force Runs 4.015/316.60, Now #2 Right Lane: Matt Hagan Runs 4.063/314.83, Now #7 Bob Bode is on the bump spot at 7.534. Hagan comes into session one with a twenty-one point advantage over Force for the Funny Car Championship. The "Little Points" are vital to both cars in qualifying. Hagan gets a starting line advantage, but Force has better incrementals right away and parlays them into the number two qualifying spot, with two vital points that takes Hagan's leave to less than one round. Hagan had a great pass too and misses the top half of the field by just 0.001. John Force's incremental times: 60ft-0.893 sec., 330ft-2.302, 660ft-3.248/273.05 mph.
