Left Lane: Janette Thornley Runs 7.466/164.67, Now #1
Right Lane: David Larson Runs 8.076/152.64, Now #2

3:15 p.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 78 degrees, relative humidity 25 percent, barometer 28.10 inches, adjusted altitude 3,788 feet, track temperature 104 degrees.

Left Lane: Johnny Vickers Runs 7.422/170.39, Now #1
Right Lane: Lloyd Stenerson Runs 8.046/167.07, Now #3

Vickers makes a clean pass. Stenerson was on the throttle all the way through the run but was falling behind at every marker.

Right Lane: Dan Ramage Runs 11.134/70.42, Now #5

Ramage made a move toward the centerline and has to back off the throttle to avoid the timing blocks.
