MOHNTON, Pa. - Notes from round 3 qualifying in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 30th annual Auto-Plus NHRA Nationals listing lane, rider name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: John Hall Runs 6.939/190.24, Now #10; Best prior run: 6.953/190.32, Was #9
Right Lane: Matt Smith Runs 6.905/192.58, Now #6; No Prior Run

3:35 p.m. - Weather conditions: air temperature 63 degrees, relative humidity 59 percent, barometer 29.04 inches, adjusted altitude 1,798 feet, track temperature 76 degrees.

Smith moved up one spot in the order and pushed Hall down one spot after these runs.

Right Lane: Angelle Sampey Runs 7.019/190.86, Now #14; No Prior Run

No change in the qualifying order after these runs.

Left Lane: Brian Pretzel No Time, Now #16; No Prior Run
Right Lane: Hector Arana Runs 6.864/195.70, Now #2; Best prior run: 6.930/193.63, Was #8

Pretzel could not get his motorcycle started, so Arana ran by himself. Arana moved up six spots in the order with a clean ride down the groove.

Right Lane: Shawn Gann Runs 6.927/193.38, Now #10; Best prior run: 6.972/190.51, Was #13

Johnson and Gann each moved up three spots in the order with their rides in this session.

Left Lane: Adam Arana Runs 6.923/194.58, Now #11; Best prior run: 6.968/190.81, Was #13
Right Lane: Angie Smith Runs 6.904/192.44, Now #7; Best prior run: 6.938/191.29, Was #11

Smith moved up four spots, Arana moved up two.

Right Lane: Chaz Kennedy Runs 6.866/190.24, Now #3; Best prior run: 6.899/190.78, Was #6

Kennedy moved up to the third spot in the order with a nice ride. Pollacheck stayed where he was in the order.

Right Lane: Hector Arana Jr Runs 11.110/75.60, Now #6; Best prior run: 6.888/195.76, Was #6

Arana's motorcycle stumbled a bit coming out of the gate and never got up to speed. Krawiec had a good run to take over the top spot in the qualifying order.

Left Lane: Jerry Savoie Runs 6.834/195.62, Now #2; Best prior run: 6.860/194.66, Was #2
Right Lane: Andrew Hines Runs 6.822/196.02, Now #1; Best prior run: 6.870/194.02, Was #5

Hines took over the top spot in the order with the best run of the session. Arana had his quickest ride of the weekend so far to take the number two spot in the order.
