MOHNTON, Pa. - Notes from round 2 qualifying in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 30th annual Auto-Plus NHRA Nationals listing lane, rider name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Angelle Sampey Runs 7.057/185.84, Now #12; Best prior run: 6.994/190.06, Was #12
Right Lane: Brian Pretzel Runs 7.309/182.21, Now #16; Best prior run: 7.981/124.18, Was #16

Weather conditions: air temperature 73 degrees, relative humidity 58 percent, barometer 29.30 inches, adjusted altitude 2,335 feet, track temperature 89 degrees.

No help here for Angelle...Pretzel makes a move in the right direction, but not enough to get in the show.

Gann improves, but was bumped back one spot by Arana. Shawn Gann's incremental times: 60ft-1.068 sec., 330ft-2.879, 660ft-4.436/157.12 mph, 1,000ft-5.800.

Smith with a real nice pass, her quickest, but will stay in the number eight spot. Johnson with his quickest pass of the day to get in the show. Steve Johnson's incremental times: 60ft-1.091 sec., 330ft-2.900, 660ft-4.446/158.06 mph, 1,000ft-5.804.

Pollacheck moves up the ladder three spots with a real nice pass. Scotty Pollacheck's incremental times: 60ft-1.048 sec., 330ft-2.856, 660ft-4.391/159.06 mph, 1,000ft-5.745.

The Harleys with a great side-by-side drag race...Hines to the number one spot. Andrew Hines' incremental times: 60ft-1.067 sec., 330ft-2.848, 660ft-4.378/159.95 mph, 1,000ft-5.718. Krawiec goes to the number two spot. Eddie Krawiec's incremental times: 60ft-1.064 sec., 330ft-2.842, 660ft-4.359/160.37 mph, 1,000ft-5.707.

Left Lane: Chaz Kennedy Runs 6.900/190.35, Now #5; Best prior run: 6.899/190.78, Was #5
Right Lane: Jerry Savoie Runs 6.860/194.66, Now #1; Best prior run: 6.879/192.47, Was #3

Kennedy with another good pass, but will not improve...Savoie goes back to the top of the list with a great pass. Jerry Savoie's incremental times: 60ft-1.039 sec., 330ft-2.836, 660ft-4.368/159.38 mph, 1,000ft-5.710.
