CONCORD, N.C. - 8:00 p.m. - Once again Super Gas proved to be a jinx, this time due to fresh rainfall.

Racing is through for today (Friday).

Super Gas Round 1 was scheduled to follow Stock Round 1 Saturday morning. That will become Super Gas Time Trial 2.

The first round of Top Alcohol qualifying scheduled to wrap things up this evening has been postponed to Saturday as well.

One round each of Top Alcohol qualifying and eliminations were scheduled for Saturday. Both will most likely become qualifying sessions instead.

Weather permitting, racing will resume at 8 a.m. with the first round of Stock Eliminator eliminations.

Late note: A third set of Top Alcohol sessions has been added to the Saturday schedule - two rounds of qualifying and the first round of eliminations.
