Like the last race, Tatum is away first, with Tedesco chasing. She finally catches him exactly at half track and pulls ahead for the close win.

Demke is away second, but out in front right before the sixty foot lights. He continues to pull steadily ahead and gets a decisive win. He also keeps lane choice in round three over Meyer.

McPhillips is 3 - 1 against Samsel in prior events.

McPhillips gets luck, after shaking the tires, and watching Samsel pull steadily ahead. Samsel's fueler starts to pull steadily towards the center line and nails the 660 reflectors. That DQ's his run and give the free pass to round two to McPhillips. He gives up lane choice toTedesco in round three
