Thompson and Woznichak have each won 1 time against the other in prior events. This is the first time they have ever met in the second round.

Thompson led this from wire to wire, winning by about a car length.

Westerfield is 1 - 0 against Perkins in prior events. They have never faced each other in the second round.

Westerfield left first and had the early lead, but Perkins passed him before the 330-foot mark, then held on for the win, the two cars locked together for much of the race, especially on the top end..

Cody Perkins' incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.024), 330 ft(0.018), 660ft(0.031), 1,000ft(0.031). MOV: 0.0308 seconds (approximately 12 feet). He faces Thompson in the semifinals, Thompson has lane choice.

This is the first time Whiteley and Bellemeur have faced each other at a national event.

Bellemeur had a nice holeshot and led almost to half track. Then Whitely took charge and pulled away for the win.

Manzo has a career-mark of 7-0 against Smith, 1-0 in round two.

This was all Manzo, first off the line and then running the first "forty" of the event. Manzo will have lane choice against Whiteley in the semifinals.
