Provost's problem was a break for Priddy, whose car wenbt silent as he pulled through the water for the burnout. There were three crewmen thrashing over the engine, trying to find the problem, while the track crew looked to see if there was anything other than smoke..
The track crew looked, the track was clear, and Priddy got his car refired.
Priddy launched late and slowed early.

Ross will race Silvia in round three.
