Manzo is 12 - 11 against Bartone in prior events. Manzo with the starting line advantage and never trailed for the win. Manzo with win here he wins his 17th Top Alcohol Funny Car Championship.

This is the first time Payne and Williamson have faced each other in eliminations. Williamson with a slight starting line advantage and the win when Payne had a lot of tire shake right at the hit. Williamson shook and pedaled it for the win and he will give up lane choice to Manzo in the final.
