LAS VEGAS - Results of round 2 eliminations in Pro Modified at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 13th annual NHRA Toyota Nationals:

This is the first time Smith and Rivenbark have faced each other in eliminations. Rivenbark with the starting line advantage and the power to hold on for the hole shot win. Kevin Rivenbark's MOV: 0.0067 seconds (approximately 2 feet). Rivenbark with his quickest pass of the weekend for the win. From all reports from Smith this will be his last race behind the wheel and he can start to celebrate his Championship.

Radford is 2 - 1 against Coughlin in prior events. Radford was a no show because the report is he was injuried in a scooter accindent in the pits last night.

Rowe and Janis have each won 2 times against the other in prior events. Janis is just a few ticks quick on the tree and turns on the red light. Rowe with his quickest pass of the weekend and he will have lane choice over Rivenbark in the semifinal.
