Pro Stock Motorcycle Qualifying Notes, Session #1

MOHNTON, Pa. - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 29th annual Auto-Plus NHRA Nationals listing lane, rider name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:

Right Lane: Chaz Kennedy Runs 7.068/178.76, Now #1

1:10 p.m. - Weather conditions: air temperature 82 degrees, relative humidity 59 percent, barometer 29.48 inches, adjusted altitude 2,886 feet, track temperature 98 degrees.

This was Kennedy's NHRA debut in Pro Stock Motorcycle.

Left Lane: Wesley Wells Runs 7.117/184.50, Now #3
Right Lane: Joe DeSantis Runs 7.037/188.10, Now #1

A pair of good rides.

Left Lane: Steve Johnson Runs 7.267/189.50, Now #5
Right Lane: Andrew Hines Runs 7.044/189.90, Now #2

Left Lane: Shawn Gann Runs 7.045/184.02, Now #4
Right Lane: Adam Arana Runs 6.955/192.06, Now #1

Arana had a good ride that was the first quicker than seven seconds and put him at the top of the order for now.

Left Lane: John Hall Runs 6.949/190.65, Now #1
Right Lane: Scotty Pollacheck Runs 7.003/189.04, Now #3

Arana's time at the top did not last long as Hall just rode quicker to take the top spot.

Left Lane: LE Tonglet Runs 6.984/190.54, Now #3
Right Lane: Eddie Krawiec Runs 7.070/188.07, Now #9

Left Lane: Michael Ray Runs 6.955/188.07, Now #4
Right Lane: Hector Arana Runs 6.886/195.14, Now #1

Arana took over the top spot in the order with this run.

Right Lane: Matt Smith Runs 6.912/193.49, Now #3
