Westerfield is 1 - 0 against Pomponio in prior events.

Pomponio gets a slight advantage off the line but it quickly went away. Westerfield was ahead at the sixty foot mark and extended his lead all the way through the run. Pomponio gets about 900 feet out and the car seemed to lose power.

Ferro is 2 - 0 against Veney in prior events.

Ferro gets off the line first, goes right down the groove and takes the win. Veney got out of the groove, then the car noses over early, not sure why.
