And the #9 and #15 qualifiers have never been in a final at Indy in the bike class. Smith has already won once this year and has had two runner-ups. In the one hundred and fifty-six races in his career, he has won fourteen times and been runner-up seventeen times. This is his thirty-first final round. Team-mate Hall has won once this year too. The only win in his twenty-five races. Smith is 2 - 1 against Hall in prior events and this is the first time they have faced each other in a final round. Team Viper to the line!
