4:11 p.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 83 degrees, relative humidity 51 percent, barometer 28.94 inches, adjusted
altitude 3,468 feet, track temperature 108 degrees.Mike Farrell's last win was at Memphis in 1997. He has three career wins: two in Comp. and one in Super Stock. He also has five runner-ups: three in Comp. and two in Super Stock. Jason Coan has three career wins and one runner-up, all in Comp. Jason Coan has a 0.12 CIC penalty; Mike Farrell has no CIC penalty. No Double Up for Farrell, as his Bantam drifts steadily toward the centerline going down the track. He tries to jerk the front end over hard at the finish line, but still nails the reflector. The car makes a hard move towards the wall at that point and he really has to work to get it back straight. Coan gets the starting line advantage and is able to stay out in front by sixteen feet to take the Comp.
Eliminator win.
