BROWNSBURG, Ind. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Funny Car at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, Second annual NHRA Traxxas Nitro Shootout for Funny Car:

These two have identical E.T.s so far this weekend. Force is the defending event champion. Pedregon with the starting line advantage and the power to hold on for the hole shot win. Cruz Pedregon's MOV: 0.0311 seconds (approximately 14 feet).

Gray has run 4.012 seconds earlier this weekend and C. Force has run a quick of 4.088 seconds this weekend. They leave together with force getting a slight starting line advantage and never trailed for the win. Courtney Force's MOV: 0.0081 seconds (approximately 4 feet).

Capps was the runner-up last year and he has run a quick of 4.049 seconds this weekend. Beckman has a quick of 4.145 seconds this weekend. They leave together and then is all Beckman for the win by 0.0587 seconds (approximately 26 feet). Beckman will have lane choice over C. Force in the semifinal.

Hagan set the track record last night with 4.007 second pass and Wilkerson has run a quick of 4.130 seconds. Hagan with the starting line advantage and the lead until around 660 feet when Wilkerson was able to chase him down. Tim Wilkerson's MOV: 0.0084 seconds (approximately 4 feet). Wilkerson will give up lane choice to C. Pedregon in the semifinal.
