5:36 p.m. It looks like the track's "teeth" have gained another victim. He launched, the car shuddered, then he pulled to the side, stopping around the 330-foot mark. Burch's run wasn't a thing of beauty either, with early tire shake.

Stewart was perfect on the tree, took too much stripe.
