AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. - Results of final, round 3 eliminations in Competition Eliminator at the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, Northwest Division, Northwest Thunderfest at Spokane County Raceway:

3:05 pm. Pat Byron has no CIC penalty; Ralph Van Paepeghem has a 0.05 CIC penalty. Byron was in the final round last year, Van Paepeghem last won a race in in 2000. They were close off the line, but Byron had more power and he drove around him. That is Pat Byron's first ever LODRS Comp Eliminator win.

Ralph Van Paepeghem's incremental times: 60ft-1.038 sec., 330ft-3.000, 660ft-4.681/145.86 mph, 1,000ft-6.145.
