BAYTOWN, Texas - 11:15 a.m. - Track drying is still under way, prolonged by occasional sprinkles.

Today's busy schedule is being redone and we'll post a detailed schedule as soon as things settle down.

Basically, Sportsman eliminations not already completed this morning will be delayed until after the Pro qualifying sessions.

Second qualifying sessions for Top Alcohol and Super Stock have been scrubbed and those fields will be set using yesterday's qualifying session.

Pro qualifying will run as scheduled, with a live TV window from 2 to 4 p.m. (CDT).

Sportsman eliminations will resume this afternoon, following Pro qualifying.

All this was predicated on "no more rain" and that premise isn't working out too well since we are still getting occasional showers that prolong the drying process.
