2:42 p.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 68 degrees, relative humidity 35 percent, barometer 29.72 inches,
adjusted altitude 1,249 feet, track temperature 102 degrees.This was a smoke fest. Wilkerson is the only car that
made it all the way through the run without smoking the tires. Hight started, going up in smoke at the hit. Pedregon
went up in smoke about 200 feet out and had to pedal. head made it about 600 feet, lost traction and backed off the
throttle. Head will ove on to the next round along with Wilkerson.

Tasca is last off the line and then loses traction. Beckman gets about 400 feet out, starts hazing the tires and has
to pedal. Alexander and Hagan both went right down the groove and will move on to the next round.
Finish Order & Margins: 1. Matt Hagan was 0.1162 sec./about 52 feet ahead of 2. Blake Alexander, who was 0.339 sec./more
than 100 feet ahead of 3. Jack Beckman, who was 1.932 sec./more than 100 feet ahead of 4. Bob Tasca III
In the final
round it will be Wilkerson, Head, Hagan, and Alexander, Hagan with the lane choice.
