Beckman is 10 - 6 against Hagan in prior events. Beckman was up in smoke almost immediately. Hagan dropped a cylinder early in the run and he wiggled his way down the track for the win.

Gray and Pedregon have each won 4 times against the other in prior events. Gray started hazing the tires at about 400 feet and his day was done.

Worsham is 1 - 0 against Force in prior events. Worsham was late at the tree and it didn't help that he was to the left of the groove on the top end of the track. Force will have lane choice over Hagan in round three.
