The third-annual Summit Racing Equipment sponsored holiday troop visit kicked off with an autograph
session at the Panzer Kaserne PX shortly after the five champion drivers arrived in Stuttgart,
Germany on November 24.
Summit Racing NHRA Pro Stock drivers Greg Anderson and Jason Line, along with Summit Racing/BIGFOOT
Monster Truck driver Dan Runte, were joined by Harley-Davidson Pro Stock Motorcycle riders Eddie
Krawiec and Andrew Hines for the weeklong tour, which includes stops at U.S. installations in
Kosovo, Bosnia, and Germany.
"These trips offer the brave men and women protecting our freedom while based far from home a bit
of enjoyment, a break from their routine," said Jim Greenleaf, Summit Racing Motorsports and Events
Manager. "We're always excited about it, and based on the reception we've gotten in the past, so
are the soldiers. This year, we are working with the people of Armed Forces Entertainment in
conjunction with the Special Forces Association, which pioneered the program. Together, they have
created some unique opportunities in places we've never visited."
Meet-and-greets as well as autograph sessions will be the norm at all stops, which will also
include dining with troops at some of the bases. Along the way, the drivers will share their
experiences with OnAllCylinders through a series of first-person blogs and pics.
Check back often.

Major Craig Barrington and his wife, Rtd. SMSGT Michele
Barrington cut short their weekend in Paris to drive back to Germany for the Sunday
autograph session. Self-proclaimed major NHRA fans, the Barrington's brought their own items
- NHRA hats and an NHRA license plate, for the Summit Racing and Harley-Davidson drivers to
sign, in addition to the posters handed out.
