POMONA, Calif. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 48th annual Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals:

Ellis has a 11 to 6 overall win advantage over Johnson, with a 7 to 5 first round ration.

Ellis has problems with the starter system and has to swap to a second one. The Buell finally comes to life and he has to hurry to stage. It must have spooked him, as he goes red big time.

Johnson makes his best run of the weekend on an easy win.

Berry has a big stating line advantage and stays in front until after the 330 lights. The big H-D HP drives Krawiec on by for the big win. He will have lane choice over Stoffer next round.
