POMONA, Calif. - 9:21 a.m. Well, the rain held off long enough for the first round of Stock Eliminator qualifying and four pairs of Super Gas, then things came to a stop.

The rest of the Super Gas cars are heading back to the pits to wait out the precipitation.

Since this wasn't supposed to happen in the first place and the weather radar shows lots of scattered green blobs coming ashore and passing through the area, it's not clear when this will stop.
