POMONA, Calif. - 8:30 a.m. - Some morning sprinkles caught the local forecasters by surprise this morning and the misty rain has delayed the start of racing a bit.

However, the Sun keeps peeking out and the light sprinkles have not had a lasting effect on the racing surface.

The first pair of Stock Eliminator cars just pulled through the portal and it looks like racing will start in a few minutes.
