DeFrank drove around the water box, staged the car, took the tree, and backed away. That puts him in the final round and clinches the 2012 Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Super Stock championship.

Stephenson;s car was rocking in and out of the staging beam, then rolled through the beams while trying to stage the car, drawing a disqualification. Gaynor was staged and sat there through the discussion, then backed off the line since he was already the winner.

Gaynpor and DeFrank will face off in the Super Stock final round.
