LAS VEGAS - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Modified at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 12th annual Big O Tires NHRA Nationals:

This is the first time Tutterow and Commisso have faced each other in eliminations. Commisso with the starting line advantage and never trailed for the win.

This is the first time Matusek and Farber have faced each other in eliminations. Matusek is off the starting line first and makes a quick move toward the centerline. He has the car side ways before he lifts. Farber with a real nice pass to take the win.

Janis is 2 - 1 against Coughlin in prior events. Coughlin is out of the gate first and never trailed as he runs his quickest pass of the weekend for the win. this keeps his title hopes alive. Troy Coughlin's incremental times: 60ft-0.991 sec., 330ft-2.647, 660ft-3.891/200.47 mph, 1,000ft-4.940. Janis with a lot of tire shake and clicks it off.

Martin is 1 - 0 against Smith in prior events. Smith with a huge starting line advantage and the power to hold on for the hole shot win. It appeared he used up an engine right in the lights. Martin with his quickest pass of the weekend in the loss.
