ENGLISHTOWN, N.J. -- According to Bob Brockmeyer who was traveling in Australia at the time, but has asked me to send you a quick note regarding a major issue that occurred Saturday with the 1320 Live Timing at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown. The 1320 Live Timing malfunctioned creating a power issue that traveled back into the Compulink computer at Englishtown and damaged the system. Unfortunately, before anyone realized that was the cause of the problem and disconnected the 1320 Live Timing, the second Compulink computer was connected and immediately damaged.

Bob would like to ask, if at all possible, that somewhere on the internet it is recorded that the 1320 Live Timing malfunctioned, not Compulink, which caused damage to the Compulink system.

We cannot have racers saying that the Compulink system failed at a major high dollar money event at Englishtown when it was actually a non-Compulink product that failed. Englishtown is aware of the cause of the problem as they were trouble-shooting with Bob's telephone assistance.
