MOHNTON, Pa. - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 28th annual Auto-Plus NHRA Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:

Left Lane: Frank Gugliotta Runs 6.652/207.62, Now #1
Right Lane: Lewis Worden Runs 6.802/204.35, Now #2

Weather conditions: air temperature 75 degrees, relative humidity 57 percent, barometer 29.48 inches, adjusted altitude 2,275 feet, track temperature 100 degrees.

both cars are straight down the groove.

Left Lane: John Gaydosh Jr Runs 6.796/202.45, Now #3
Right Lane: Dave Connolly Runs 6.618/210.08, Now #1

Gaydosh shook right at the hit and made a move toward the wall, but reeled it in. Connolly with a real nice pass to start the weekend. Dave Connolly's incremental times: 60ft-1.016 sec., 330ft-2.790, 660ft-4.267/166.79 mph, 1,000ft-5.543.

Left Lane: Warren Johnson Runs 6.624/209.01, Now #2
Right Lane: Kurt Johnson Runs 9.040/154.02, Now #6

Kurt shook hard right off the starting line and then drove it on down the track. WJ with a good pass to start the weekend.

Right Lane: Shane Gray Runs 6.619/207.53, Now #3

These two are side-by side all the way down the 1320....humphrey with faster speed and he gets the higher position. Ronnie Humphrey's incremental times: 60ft-1.002 sec., 330ft-2.788, 660ft-4.269/166.56 mph, 1,000ft-5.543.
Shane Gray's incremental times: 60ft-0.982 sec., 330ft-2.761, 660ft-4.248/165.60 mph, 1,000ft-5.534.

Right Lane: V. Gaines Runs 6.579/209.62, Now #1

Gaines launched hard and was straight down the groove to go to the number one spot. V. Gaines' incremental times: 60ft-0.982 sec., 330ft-2.753, 660ft-4.230/166.85 mph, 1,000ft-5.505. Coughlin goes to the number five spot. Jeg Coughlin's incremental times: 60ft-0.997 sec., 330ft-2.775, 660ft-4.258/166.31 mph, 1,000ft-5.540.

Left Lane: Larry Morgan Runs 6.625/207.82, Now #8
Right Lane: Ron Krisher Runs 6.590/209.36, Now #2

Krisher with a great pass to go to the number two spot. Ron Krisher's incremental times: 60ft-0.986 sec., 330ft-2.759, 660ft-4.238/166.39 mph, 1,000ft-5.514. Morgan with the same short time as Krisher, but then slows, he still gets in the show. Larry Morgan's incremental times: 60ft-0.986 sec., 330ft-2.768, 660ft-4.257/165.23 mph, 1,000ft-5.541.

Right Lane: Greg Anderson Runs 6.626/195.42, Now #10

Anderson with tire chatter right at the hit...Greg Anderson's incremental times: 60ft-1.004 sec., 330ft-2.774, 660ft-4.248/167.01 mph, 1,000ft-5.519. Edwards with good pass to go to the number two spot. Mike Edwards' incremental times: 60ft-0.992 sec., 330ft-2.766, 660ft-4.244/167.12 mph, 1,000ft-5.514.

Right Lane: Erica Enders Runs 6.578/210.67, Now #2

This was a great side-by-side drag race as Nobile goes to the number one spot and Enders to the number two spot. Vincent Nobile's incremental times: 60ft-0.987 sec., 330ft-2.756, 660ft-4.231/167.20 mph, 1,000ft-5.500.
Erica Enders' incremental times: 60ft-0.997 sec., 330ft-2.766, 660ft-4.237/167.36 mph, 1,000ft-5.508.

Left Lane: Jason Line Runs 6.553/211.43, Now #2
Right Lane: Allen Johnson Runs 6.545/211.39, Now #1

This was a great drag race to wrap up round one of qualifying. johnson goes to the number one spot. Allen Johnson's incremental times: 60ft-0.983 sec., 330ft-2.747, 660ft-4.216/167.66 mph, 1,000ft-5.480. Line was right there with him and he goes to the number two spot. Jason Line's incremental times: 60ft-0.980 sec., 330ft-2.748, 660ft-4.220/167.70 mph, 1,000ft-5.487.
