MISSION, B.C. - Notes from final, round 3 qualifying in Top Alcohol Dragster at the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, Northwest Division, LORDCO Auto Parts BC Nationals at Mission Raceway listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Right Lane: Greg Sereda Runs 6.906/136.57, Now #5; Best prior run: 5.674/251.02, Was #5

3:17 pm. Sereda blows the head gasket at around 300ft, with a nice flame show for the fans in the stands.

Greg Sereda's incremental times: 60ft-0.935 sec., 330ft-2.466, 660ft-3.850/160.63 mph, 1,000ft-5.361.

Right Lane: Gord Gingles Runs 5.504/264.44, Now #3; Best prior run: 5.445/266.48, Was #3

Gingles makes another nice run and he will stay #3 in the show.

Right Lane: Joey Severance Runs 5.352/270.86, Now #1; Best prior run: 5.367/267.93, Was #1

Severance drives thru some tire shake down low, and he will improve on his earlier time and stay #1. Martin with another solid run.
