MOHNTON, Pa. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Top Alcohol Funny Car at the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, Northeast Division, event at Maple Grove Raceway:

4:53 p.m. - Weather conditions: air temperature 90 degrees, relative humidity 52 percent, barometer 30.04 inches, adjusted altitude 2,478 feet.

Cox's car launched and shook the tries really hard. He clicked it off right away. Anderika's Monte Carlo did a little stutter-step out of the gate, then got hooked up the rest of the way for the win.

Lourie shook the tires out of the gate and clicked it off. Gill went down the groove for the win.

After two cars shook hard in the left lane, Pomponio and crew got the setup right and had this race from start to finish. Pomponio got the win but gave up lane choice to Gill in round two.

Tigges went red at the start and backed off the throttle. Manzo went straight down the groove to win lane choice over Anderika in the next round.
