3:43 p.m. Thacker has been consistently quick on all four of his runs at this event, Powell was about a tenth slower on three of his four.
Thacker left first, but slowed on the top end and made his slowest run of the event. The two cars ran almost the same ET, Thacker's better light accounting for most of the difference at the stripe.

On paper, this was a very close matchup and the race started out to be just that, but there was a flash and a puff of smoke from Kosky's car, followed by both chutes coming out.

Perry will have lane choice against Thacker in the final round.
