Event Postponed For Weather

See You Memorial Day Weekend

BATON ROUGE, La. - 9:19 p.m. The main body of the storm is now upon us and it's a torrential downpour.

The remainder of this event has been postponed, most likely to be completed at the Summit Sportsman Spectacular at San Antonio on Memorial Day Weekend.

Remaining car counts are: Hot Rod - 2, Stock - 4 (one completed round 4 quarterfinals), Quick Rod - 4, Top Sportsman - 2, Super Rod - 3, Top Dragster - 5, Super Stock - 2, Junior Dragster Advanced and Master - 2 each. Junior Dragster Beginner has already completed the final round.

There are four cars left in ET No Box, five in ET Box. Since they are a mixture of local and Summit Pro-Am racers, those racers will split the purse.

Drag Race Central will cover the completion of this event as well as the Summit Sportsman Spectacular.
