BATON ROUGE, La. - 8:45 p.m. - Just like last night, sunset started cooling the unstable, wet air that built up in the heat of the day and started spawning thunderstorms.

The storm is very close to the track and lightning appeared to be interfering with the timing system, so it was shut down as a precaution and the cars were sent back to their trailers for safety reasons.

We are on hold until the threatening weather lets up.
