8:30 p.m. Smallwood had earl\y tire shake and abandoned the run around half track. Samsel, on the other hand, had a relatively error-free run and will be in the championship round tonight.

Dennis rattled the tires and lost traction before half track, but Evans came back to his old form with a nice run. He will have lane choice when he races Samsel for the champion's purse and the Iron Man.
