8:26 p.m. The Saturday crowd is on their feet and threatening weather that got within a couple miles of the track appears to be fading away.
As we explained yesterday, two of the cars booked for this weekend withdrew at the last minute, leaving a hole that was impossible to fill at short notice.

Last night the Candies & Hughes flopper had problems finding traction on its only run, but tonight it was straight and true all the way through a pretty run to get the first win light of the evening.
