BATON ROUGE, La. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Nitro Harley at the 2012 Nitro Jam Series, IHRA Mardi Gras Nitro Jam presented by Domino's Pizza, Day One:

8:42 p.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 88 degrees, relative humidity 55 percent, barometer 29.91 inches, adjusted altitude 2,827 feet, track temperature 107 degrees.

Dorn got out of shape and took out a timing reflector, so the run was DQ'ed. Scott made a nice pass, clean and straight.

Andras had a nice holeshot, but had problems early in the run and Turner won easily. He will race Scott in the championship round. Jay Turner's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.082), 330 ft(-0.005), 660ft(0.512), 1,000ft(1.465). MOV: 2.6318 seconds (more than 100 feet).
