LAS VEGAS - The 2012 NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Second Western Regional Event and Third Division 7 Sportsman Event at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, NV

Today's activities will feature two rounds of qualifying and time trials for nine of the eleven Sportsman competitors.

There will also be two test and tune sessions for the Top Alcohol Dragster and Funny Car categories planned for 2:00PM and 5:30 PM this afternoon.

In addition, there will be a track Shootout "Race Within A Race" for Super Comp, Super Gas, and Stock/Super Stock Combo throughout the afternoon.
