St. Arnaud has too much damage from last round and can't make the call. McKernan makes a strong single and may have tickled the throttle about a hundred feet out.

Ouch! Butler's engine starts and then goes silent. Severance gets a single and lucks out. The tires are up in smoke right at the green.

He gives up lane choice to McKennan in the final round later.
