POMONA, Calif. - Results of final, round 4 eliminations in Top Alcohol Funny Car at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 47th annual Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals:

Payne is 4 - 1 against Bellemeur in prior events and Payne is 2 - 0 against Bellemeur in prior final rounds. Both were in 2007 and are the only two prior final rounds for Bellemour. Payne has won this event twice in TAD and twice in TAFC.

Bellemeur did all he could, with a better light and his best run of the event, but Payne had the power to make up the starting line difference in the first 60 feet and pull away to win by over a car length for his fifth Finals win.
